Why parkrun magazine:
parkrun has always challenged convention – events are never “races” and everyone who joins in is celebrated equally. Producing a printed magazine when so much of the world is digital is another challenge to convention. We want to give readers a chance to enjoy some time away from screens, letting you digest the stories at your own pace.
The magazine isn’t a “running magazine.” You won’t find reviews of complicated gadgets or equipment. You won’t see articles claiming to make you “better.” Instead, we’ve tried to bring the inclusivity and community spirit of parkrun to the printed page. Get a free copy here.
A magazine you can listen to:
We understand that a printed magazine isn’t for everyone, so we’ve created a free audiozine that you can download and listen to in a way that suits you.
Each episode of the audio magazine is packed with features adapted from the print edition all about getting started on a more active lifestyle, plus hints and tips about becoming healthier and happier. You’ll also find plenty of stories about the communities around parkrun events.
